Jeff & Matt Hardy Meet With WWE Officials

Hardy Boyz meet with WWE

Could The Hardy Boyz be set to return to WWE?

According to a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Matt and Jeff Hardy met with WWE officials very early this morning in Cleveland, Ohio. It is unknown what was discussed during the meeting but there was reportedly content filmed that will air through WWE digital.

The Hardys have a busy weekend as they are doing a signing today at Wrestlecon's Destination Cleveland. They are also scheduled for TNA's IMPACT tapings in Tampa, Florida that are being held tonight and on Saturday.

The Hardys are currently a part of TNA Wrestling, with Matt returning to the company at April's Rebellion pay-per-view, while Jeff made his own comeback at June's Against All Odds TNA+ special. The Hardy Boyz are not signed to contracts with TNA Wrestling, though, and they are free to sign elsewhere should they desire.

The Hardys have had several runs with WWE since the 1990s. Matt's latest WWE run came to an end in 2020, at which point he joined All Elite Wrestling. Jeff then followed Matt to AEW in 2022 although their run was largely derailed by Jeff's DUI arrest in the Summer of 2022

TNA Wrestling formed a working relationship with WWE NXT earlier this year so another possibility is the meeting could have centred around the current agreement between the two companies.
