Jeff Hardy Still Feeling 'So Much Guilt And Shame' Over His Personal Issues Derailing AEW Run

Jeff Hardy reflects over his personal issues derailing his AEW run

When Jeff Hardy arrived in All Elite Wrestling to reunite with brother Matt in 2022 it was seen as a great coup for AEW, with a host of dream matches available for the Hardys in AEW’s tag scene.

Fast forward to 2024 and both Hardys are out of the company, with Jeff’s run severely hampered by personal issues, with the former WWE Champion arrested for DUI shortly after his AEW debut. Both Hardys are now back in TNA Wrestling, but during a recent appearance on Busted Open Radio, Jeff revealed his ‘guilt and shame’ for how his AEW run panned out:

“Definitely to win the TNA Tag Team titles,” Jeff said when asked about current goals in wrestling. “Basically because I have so much guilt and shame within me still, just from AEW giving me an opportunity - and even Matt - to me breaking trust with my personal issues in real life. And so, I just want to make that up to Matt. And I can say right here that I will not break TNA’s trust. That is in my past, and it feels good to have somewhat of a clean slate with all that stuff and kind of start fresh instead of having that guilt and shame about what I did in a certain world of pro wrestling.”
