Jeff Hardy Pleads Not Guilty To DUI Charges

Jeff Hardy has pleaded not guilty

Jeff Hardy pleaded not guilty on June 28 to the DUI-related charges he was arrested for back on June 13 in Florida, PWInsider has reported. Hardy also waived arraignment and waived his right "to be present at all pretrial conferences."

The AEW talent was arrested on the morning of Monday, June 13, on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked or suspended license, and violating restrictions placed on his license. Police pulled Hardy over following four calls about an impaired driver and the police report noted the former TNA World Heavyweight Champion was weaving across lanes and driving well below the speed limit.

A breathalyser test indicated Hardy was three times above the legal limit and the 44-year-old admitted to police that he drank double shots of Fireball before driving. Hardy also noted that he had an upcoming brain scan following an injury suffered at the May 29 Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.

Hardy has since been suspended without pay by All Elite Wrestling and he is currently in treatment.
