Johnny Gargano Vs. Grayson Waller & More Set For WWE NXT Stand & Deliver

An NXT Grand Slam Champion has returned to the developmental brand. 

The feud between Grayson Waller and Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels continued at NXT Roadblock on March 7 as the WWE Hall of Famer was the guest on the Grayson Waller Effect. The two men soon started arguing which prompted Waller to challenge the 57-year-old to a match at Stand & Deliver. Michaels stated he would like to whip Waller's ass but he knew someone else who wanted to do it more.

This led to Johnny Gargano's NXT return and he attacked Waller to send the former Matty Wahlberg crashing out of the squared circle. It was then announced that Gargano and Waller will go one-on-one at Stand & Deliver. 

Waller and Gargano have a history in NXT as Waller attacked Johnny Wrestling following his goodbye speech to NXT in December 2021. Gargano re-signed with WWE several months later, returning as a main roster talent in August 2022. 

Also announced for Stand & Deliver is an NXT Title match between champion Bron Breakker and Carmelo Hayes. Hayes has looked to challenge for NXT's top championship since Breakker defeated Grayson Waller at Vengeance Day. He and Breakker came face-to-face at Roadblock to set up the title clash. 

NXT Stand & Deliver will be a matinee event on Saturday, April 1 ahead of night one of WrestleMania 39.
