Jonathan Gresham Launches Terminus, First Show Set For January 16

What will Terminus be?

Jonathan Gresham's post-Ring Of Honor contract future has become a little bit clearer.

The former ROH Pure Champion posted a teaser video on Twitter on Monday announcing Terminus, an organisation billed as 'Modern Age Grappling.' An event is also set to take place on January 16, 2022, in Atlanta, Georgia.

There is no word on if Terminus will be a one-off event or a full-scale promotion headed by Gresham.

Many within the industry reacted to Gresham's announcement, including former WWE and ROH World Champion Seth Rollins, who wrote: "One time a young JG paid my booking fee - when the promoter couldn't come up with the cash - so I would stay and work. We ended up tearing it up in front of about 6 people, & had a couple more bangers months later. He never looked back. Invest in yourself, friends."

Gresham has cemented himself as one of the best wrestlers on the independent wrestling scene in recent years, being known for his technical wrestling ability. He won the revived ROH Pure Title last year and held the gold for 317 days before dropping it to Josh Woods at Death Before Dishonor in September 2021.

Gresham will challenge Bandido for the ROH World Title at Final Battle on December 11. Ring Of Honor will then go on hiatus for Q1 2022 following the event and all ROH talent, including Gresham, will be released from their contracts.
