Kenny Omega's Return Teased On Being The Elite

Further teases arose about Kenny Omega's possible return to All Elite Wrestling on Monday's episode of Being The Elite.

First, Matt Jackson appeared on the episode wearing a Backstreet Boys t-shirt, calling back to a past photo of The Young Bucks and The Best Bout Machine attending a concert by the boy band. The biggest tease came at the end of the show, when Matt Jackson answered a phone call and asked if the person on the other end of the line was sure they were ready. 

While it was not directly stated that Omega was the person speaking to Matt Jackson, that certainly appears to be the case, especially since The Cleaner's return has been heavily rumoured in recent weeks. 

Those rumours only intensified after AEW announced a tournament to crown the inaugural AEW World Trios Champions and The Young Bucks invited Hangman Page to be their tag team partner following a reconciliation. Page refused, though, as he will instead be in Dark Order's corner. 

This ultimately leaves The Bucks without a tag team partner for their first-round match against Andrade El Idolo, Rush, and Dragon Lee and the expectation with "just about everyone" in AEW is that Omega will make his return on Wednesday's episode of Dynamite. 

Omega has been on the shelf since November of 2021, having dealt with several injuries in recent years.
