Kenny Omega Unable To Send Video For AAA TripleMania Due To 'Legal Issues'

No Kenny Omega at TripleMania because of legal issues

The All Out backstage fight between Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, CM Punk, and Ace Steel continues to affect the wrestling world.

All five men have been suspended since the backstage altercation that took place after CM Punk's post-All Out media scrum and there is currently no word on how much longer the suspensions will be in place, only that the talents will remain suspended while a third party investigates exactly what happened. The investigation has been slowed by potential legal issues, though, with one party believed to be threatening legal action.

These legal issues ultimately had an effect on AAA's TripleMania event over the weekend. Kenny Omega remains the number one contender for the AAA Mega Championship held by El Hijo del Vikingo and Konnan revealed on his podcast that he approached The Best Bout Machine about sending a video to TripleMania for Vikingo's title match with Rey Fenix. Konnan was told that would not be possible, though.

"I know there are some legal issues because I actually asked Kenny Omega if he could send me a video for TripleMania, whoever wins between Vikingo and Fenix because, you know, he's the number one contender, and he goes, 'I still can't because of legal issues.' So, there is something legal going on," Konnan said.

Along with being blocked from AEW while he is suspended, Omega is unable to make appearances for other promotions.
