Kevin Owens Says He & CM Punk Never Talk, Are Not Friends
Kevin Owens says he doesn't speak to CM Punk
When CM Punk returned to WWE in 2023, questions were raised over his relationship with many of those on the WWE roster, notably the likes of Drew McIntyre & Seth Rollins, both of whom have brought their alleged real life dislike for Punk on-screen for storytelling purposes. Another name who has been known to have a murky history with Punk is Kevin Owens, and aside from a backstage segment, the pair have kept apart on WWE programming thus far.
Kevin Owens spoke to Mail Sport and was poked on the relationship between he and CM Punk, to which Owens was very blunt about having very minimal communication with him.
'We never talk. We have no reason to talk. We're not friends. We're not, we don't, you know, we're just not, I don't know. We have no reason to talk. If we work together, we will talk, but just not a thing we do.'
Based on these comments, it appears Owens is not closed to the idea of working with Punk at some point in WWE, though he isn’t likely to strike up a conversation without a professional purpose. This follows up Owens' comments a few months back when he said he had zero relationship with Punk since his return.
