Kyle O'Reilly Vs. Von Wagner Cage Match Set For December 7 WWE NXT

Kyle O'Reilly will have an immediate opportunity to get vengeance on Von Wagner for his attempted betrayal when the two meet in a Cage Match at this week's WWE NXT.

O'Reilly and Wagner were unsuccessful in their attempt to take the NXT Tag Team Championship from Imperium at Sunday's NXT WarGames and, following the match, Wagner tried to attack the former Undisputed Era member. 

However, O'Reilly saw Wagner's clothesline coming and was able to fend off the NXT 2.0 newcomer, leaving him in the ring.

Speaking backstage in a promo, O'Reilly spelled out that he saw Wagner's betrayal coming and asked NXT to leave the WarGames cage set up, challenging his short-term tag-team partner to a cage match.

O'Reilly's WWE deal is reportedly expiring this month with the most recent speculation suggesting that the former NXT Tag Team Champion could be departing the company as soon as the end of this week.

Also set for this Tuesday’s NXT is a match between Xyon Quinn and Santos Escobar, while MSK will also finally meet the shaman they have been looking for in.
