Luchasaurus Turns Heel On AEW Dynamite

Luchasaurus has sided with Christian Cage, turning heel in the process

Jurassic Express is no more after Luchasaurus debuted a new heel persona on Wednesday's episode of AEW Dynamite from Detroit, Michigan.

The character change was revealed on last night's show after Christian Cage cut a promo in which he refused to apologise for his remarks on the June 22 edition of Dynamite about Jungle Boy's deceased father Luke Perry. The former IMPACT World Champion then simply ramped up the rhetoric, telling Jungle Boy he was sorry that his whole family weren't dead except for the 25-year-old's mother before Cage signalled for her to call him.

Captain Charisma went on to announce that he had requested a match, just not for himself, before he revealed a new Luchasaurus, who made his way to the ring adorned all in black with new entrance music.

The dinosaur then promptly squashed Serpentico and defeated him in one minute via submission.

Luchasaurus' new character comes after Christian Cage turned on Jungle Boy two weeks ago and left him lying following a Killswitch and Con-Chair-To. Luchasaurus confronted Cage about his actions last week but they did not come to blows and an alliance that came to fruition last night was teased instead.
