Team Blackpool Combat Club Win AEW Blood & Guts

All Elite Wrestling held their second Blood & Guts Match on Wednesday's edition of Dynamite from Detroit, Michigan, as the Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, Matt Menard, Angelo Parker, and Jake Hager) squared off with Team Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz).

The match was as violent as many expected, with most of the competitors ending the night with crimson masks after thumbtacks, broken glass, kendo sticks, skewers, rubbing alcohol, steel chairs, tables, and even a fork had all been used to inflict pain. 

Blood & Guts ultimately drew to a close after 50 minutes with Eddie Kingston, Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Jericho, and Matt Menard on the roof of the cage. Kingston quickly applied the Stretch Plum to Jericho but the former AEW World Champion would not easily give up. Castagnoli, meanwhile, locked in a Sharpshooter on Menard and the 2point0 member tapped out, handing the win to the babyfaces. 

Eddie Kingston was initially frustrated after the win since he wanted to score the victory by making Jericho submit but he eventually came around, fist-bumped Castagnoli, and Team Blackpool Combat Club minus an injured Santana celebrated on top of the cage as Dynamite went off the air.
