Matches Announced For AEW: Dynamite New Year’s Smash

The Rescheduled Shows Will Take Place on January 6 And 13…

AEW’s special New Year’s Smash episodes of Dynamite are starting to take shape. Night one is set to air next Wednesday, January 6, with night two taped the same night but set to air on January 13.

Originally scheduled for December 30, 2020 and January 6, 2021, the shows were pushed back due to the untimely death of Brodie Lee on December 26.

The January 6 episode is going head-to-head with NXT New Year's Evil, while January 13 sees NXT's Dusty Rhodes Classic kick-off. Like WWE’s black and gold brand, AEW have loaded Dynamite with several title bouts, plus appearances from Jon Moxley and Snoop Dogg, and Chris Jericho on commentary.
