More CMLL Talent Possibly Able To Wrestle In AEW Soon

More CMLL wrestlers coming soon to AEW TV?

The working relationship between All Elite Wrestling and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre was struck by issues earlier this year after it emerged that 19 of CMLL's luchadors were in the process of having their work visas cancelled by the United States government following issues between CMLL and Full Blown Pro Wrestling, a Texas-based indy promotion that was sponsoring the visas.

In an update, though, Dave Meltzer reported in the F4WOnline Daily Update that the situation is "sorting itself out" and some of the talents affected by having their visas cancelled could have their issues resolved this coming week. Key names that had their visas cancelled included Templario, Soberano Jr., Blue Panther, Dulce Gardenia, Sagrado, Capitan Suicida, Espiritu Nego, Euforia, Fugaz, Robin, Sange Imperial, and Los Gemelo Diablos.

All Elite Wrestling and CMLL formed a working relationship in late 2023 and the likes of Mistico, Titan, Hechicero, Volador Jr., Magnus, and Mascara Dorada have all wrestled on AEW TV. Blackpool Combat Club also headlined CMLL Homenaje A Dos Leyendas in late March before Bryan Danielson had his dream match against Blue Panther one week later.

Several other AEW wrestlers are reportedly hoping to perform at Arena Mexico, including Chris Jericho.
