Nick Gage: I Want Kenny Omega In A Deathmatch
The Cleaner better bring his A game if it ever happens
Deathmatch icon Nick Gage is set to face Jon Moxley in GCW, following a series of brawls between the two. But Moxley isn’t the only AEW star the leader of the MDK Gang has his eyes on - he also wants Kenny Omega.
Talking to Ron Funches on Gettin’ Better, Gage said the following about the Best Bout Machine:
"I ain't doing that corny ass s*** [the exploding barbed wire deathmatch] It didn't go well at all," Gage said "I didn't even like the match. It didn't flow right, it didn't feel good. Then they were out there for that countdown for so long. Shout out to those dudes. Kenny Omega is a beast. I'd love to wrestle him in a deathmatch. He seems like a guy who would do a deathmatch.
“I wrestled Matt Riddle in a match like that before. I hit him in the f****** head with a light tube. That motherf***** came back barefoot and stepped in the glass like a f****** nut. I brought out a barbed wire board and everything. He gave me a dropkick, I went into the board and was like, 'I f***** up. This dude is down for this s***.’ I'm proud of him. He deserves it. He's a machine.”
A showdown between gage and Omega would certainly be something, especially if The Belt Collector takes a shine to Gage’s GCW World Title, but Gage has to get through Jon Moxley first:
“We're [Gage & Moxley] definitely wrestling one-on-one,” said Gage “I want to get him in the ring one-on-one. I don't want to sit there and f****** jump his ass. I want him in the ring. I want to see if he wants to get f****** down. All that other s***, you know that's fake glass and cut barbed wire, we don't do that s***. We got barbed wire and real f****** glass. We're gonna find out if he wants to f****** go because that s*** is going to burn.”
