Report: Early Estimate Of AEW All Out 2022 PPV Buys

Estimated PPV buys for AEW All Out revealed

An early estimate of the AEW All Out 2022 buy-rate has emerged.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the estimated total pay-per-view buys for All Out is between 135,000 and 142,000. This is a big drop from last year's All Out event which drew 205,000 buys. That show was built around CM Punk's first pro wrestling match in seven years and the suspected debuts of Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole, which ended up occurring.

The estimate also means that All Out comes in behind the 2022 editions of Revolution and Double Or Nothing but ahead of Forbidden Door. Revolution drew 165,000 buys while Double Or Nothing had an estimated 155,000 buys. Forbidden Door garnered 127,000 buys.

Unlike those pay-per-views and past editions of All Out, the September 4 show had competition from WWE, something which Tony Khan complained about during the All Out media scrum. WWE first ran Clash At The Castle on September 3 before NXT Worlds Collide ahead of All Out on September 4.

For attendance, All Out drew 9100 fans to the NOW Arena in Chicago, Illinois. It became AEW's third-straight pay-per-view to draw over $1 million.
