Report: Jeff Hardy Rented Cars Despite Suspended License

Jeff Hardy continued driving despite his suspended license

Jeff Hardy was able to rent and drive vehicles despite having a suspended license, Fightful Select have reported.

The AEW talent's license was suspended due to an earlier DUI arrest but Fightful noted he kept the physical license on his person and had used it to rent vehicles since his time in WWE. The license being suspended did not cause any issues for Hardy when it came to renting cars outside of North Carolina.

Fightful also noted that Jeff and Matt Hardy were at a signing and concert on Sunday night and Matt made sure his brother made it to his hotel room. Matt then flew home with his family while Jeff remained in Florida and they did not see each other again after Sunday evening. Matt has since confirmed that he flew home early Monday morning.

Jeff was arrested on DUI and other charges on Monday morning. He has since been suspended without pay by All Elite Wrestling and he will only be allowed to come back to the promotion "upon successfully completing treatment and maintaining his sobriety." Within the video of Hardy's arrest, he admitted to drinking double shots of Fireball prior to driving.

Hardy also told police officers that he had an upcoming doctor's appointment about a brain scan. There will be little news on this, Fightful noted, due to legal reasons.

Hardy posted bond on Monday evening and his court date is scheduled for July 5.
