Report: Major Network Working On WWE Documentary

New WWE documentary in pre production

Another documentary on WWE could be on the way in the next few years.

Former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman revealed on 'Behind The Turnbuckle' that he was approached to be interviewed for the Mr. McMahon docuseries that was released on Netflix on September 25. Coachman turned that down but he has since been approached by a production company for a 'major network' about doing another WWE documentary.

"People need to understand, I got called for this doc, and at the time, I was not prepared to go into a doc that I felt was going to be a hit piece. In hindsight, would I have liked to have been in it? I mean, it doesn't matter to me one way or the other. Full transparency, another production company on a major network reached out to me yesterday and they're doing another documentary on the WWE. I don't know what the network is. They're actually calling me today after we get done with this show about me being in that one because a lot of people don't realise how close I was to Vince for many years. I was his assistant. I was on his plane. I did all the press conferences. This production company, somehow they found out because this lady knew exactly what I had done with Vince when she emailed me yesterday," Coachman said.

Jonathan Coachman worked for WWE across two spells from 1999 until 2008 and 2018 to 2021. Coachman admitted earlier this year that he was open to returning to the company
