Report: 'No Movement' In AEW Contract Talks With Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks

Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have yet to sign new AEW deals

All Elite Wrestling could find themselves without three of their top stars at the beginning of 2024.

Reports in recent months have noted that Kenny Omega's deal with the promotion was set to expire in February 2023 but injury time was added to the contract for the time the former AEW World Champion was out of action between November 2021 and August 2022. Omega's contract will instead expire in November or December of this year.

The Young Bucks' deals with AEW are also reportedly set to expire at the end of 2023.

It was noted back in March that AEW were working on long-term deals for The Elite, with the trio represented by Barry Bloom. In an update, though, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there has been "no movement of late" in signing Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks to new deals. There is no word on why AEW have yet to secure The Elite to new long-term contracts.

The Young Bucks were part of the founding team of AEW in January 2019, while Kenny Omega joined one month later. The trio are Executive Vice Presidents in the promotion.
