Report: Possible WWE Royal Rumble 2025 Plans For Roman Reigns Revealed

Update on WWE Royal Rumble 2025 plans for Roman Reigns

The 2025 men's Royal Rumble match could feature one of the company's biggest stars.

According to WrestleVotes on a live Backstage Pass Q&A, Roman Reigns will likely be in the Royal Rumble match on February 1 when the pay-per-view emanates from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.

"From just the short questions that I asked that I got back, he's probably more likely to be in the Rumble for the first time in a while as opposed to a singles stand-alone match...Roman’s on the Rumble poster, likely to be in the Rumble match," WrestleVotes said.

Roman Reigns hasn't competed in a Rumble match since 2020 due to his 1316-day reign as Universal Champion and 735-day reign as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. He is a former Royal Rumble winner, having infamously won the match in 2015.

2025 will be the first time in Royal Rumble history that the show hasn't taken place in January. WWE made the change to avoid airing against Super Bowl weekend or the NFL playoffs in general.
