Report: Update On Plans For AEW World Title Match At All Out

Which match will main event AEW All Out?

While All Elite Wrestling's next pay-per-view All Out is only two weeks away, only a few matches have been announced for the show and the main event remains unclear.

It was assumed that CM Punk vs. Jon Moxley in an AEW World Title Unification Match would be the main event but that was thrown into doubt this week after it was announced that the match would actually be taking place on the August 24 edition of Dynamite.

Despite the doubt, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that a CM Punk vs. Jon Moxley match for both the AEW World Title and Interim AEW World Championship is the current plan for All Out. The match is not 100 percent set for the September 4 pay-per-view but it is being talked about as the current plan.

This would suggest that Punk and Moxley's match on August 24 will not feature a decisive finish, whether that be the match ending in a DQ, double count-out, interference from an outside talent, or another finish.
