Report: Update On The Cavinder Twins' WWE Deals

WWE are said to be high on the twins

Two developmental talents that WWE have high hopes for in Haley and Hanna Cavinder made their NXT TV debuts this week, appearing on NXT to celebrate Thea Hail's win in the Battle Royal to earn a shot at Tiffany Stratton's NXT Women's Title. The Cavinder Twins had revealed they were at the WWE Performance Center earlier that day on social media.

Despite appearing on NXT TV, the Cavinder Twins have not signed contracts with WWE and they remain under their NIL deals with the company, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"They were there. They have not signed a talent contract yet, I checked that today. They still have their NIL contract. [WWE] is real, real high on them but they haven't even started training yet. So, who's to say? They may end up being great. They are better actual athletes than almost all the women there, so they do have that going for them. And they are bigger stars in the real world than every single woman there, so they have that going for them," Meltzer said.

"Them being on TV tells you that they must be pretty serious and they did give up their final year of college basketball for this, or theoretically for thisI'm sure the company wants them to be the next Ronda Rouseys. They are not as famous as Ronda Rousey was coming in but they probably have more fame coming in than anybody else. They are more famous than Lash Legend was when she came in."

Haley and Hanna Cavinder were basketball athletes in college. They forewent their final year of NCAA eligibility after the 2022/23 season. The twins remain very popular on social media, with 4.5 million followers on TikTok.

WWE launched their Next in Line programme back in late 2021 and they signed several college athletes to NIL deals soon after. The programme is designed to help recruit and develop college athletes into potential wrestlers. The athletes are provided with access to the WWE Performance Center along with resources to help with media training, live event production, creative writing and more as part of the NIL contracts.
