Report: WWE Interested In Signing Mia Yim

WWE are reportedly interested in signing Mia Yim

WWE are interested in signing Mia Yim, according to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Dave Meltzer wrote that WWE were interested in signing her as they are attempting to bring back people whose releases were out of the control of Paul 'Triple H' Levesque.

Mia Yim signed with WWE in September of 2018 on the back of her strong performances in the inaugural Mae Young classic. She primarily performed on NXT, though she did have a short main roster run as a member of the Retribution faction under the name 'Reckoning'. After the Retribution group disbanded, Yim was drafted to Raw in the 2021 Draft but was released a few weeks later (without reappearing on television).

Since being cut by WWE, she has wrestled on the independent scene, as well as for IMPACT Wrestling. After losing to Mickie James at Bound for Glory, Mia Yim departed the company.

Though her IMPACT deal has expired, it was noted that the company was open to re-signing her. Meltzer also speculated that she may attempt to get to AEW since her husband Keith Lee currently works there.
