Ric Flair Vows To Never Retire

Is Ric Flair going to come back for one more match?

While Ric Flair appeared to retire from the squared circle earlier this year, the 16-time world champion has now announced he will never hang up his boots.

Flair took to Twitter for his 50th anniversary in pro wrestling, tweeting: "Thank You To Everyone Who Helped Me Celebrate My 50 Years In The Business! One Thing Is For Certain... I WILL NEVER RETIRE! WOOOOO!"

The Nature Boy retired in July of 2022, teaming with son-in-law Andrade El Idolo at 'Ric Flair's Last Match' to defeat Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. Everyone finally believed the 73-year-old was done inside the squared circle but he has since teased having a second last match, noting that Ricky Steamboat's upcoming in-ring return had given him the itch to perform again

"Steamboat coming back makes me want to come back again. I went back up to Lincoln and started training again. What else is there to do?" Flair said.

Flair is a free agent since he was released by WWE last year. He currently hosts his To Be The Man podcast with Conrad Thompson.
