Seth Rollins Qualifies For World Title Match At WWE Night Of Champions

Who will Rollins face?

Seth Rollins will be the Raw brand representative in the match at Night of Champions to determine the new World Heavyweight champion.

Rollins defeated Finn Balor on Monday's Raw in Jacksonville to earn a spot in the title match. In the end, Balor managed to avoid one Curb Stomp, but Rollins countered the counter by stomping Balor's face before hitting the traditional Curb Stomp to win.

Rollins won a triple threat match over Damian Priest and Shinsuke Nakamura earlier in the night to qualify for the final match. Balor won a similar triple threat, defeating Cody Rhodes and The Miz.

A similar six-man tourney will take place on Friday's SmackDown broadcast in Knoxville, TN. One triple threat will consist of Edge, Rey Mysterio, and AJ Styles, while the other includes Austin Theory, Bobby Lashley and Sheamus. The two winners will face off later Friday night to determine Rollins' opponent.

The match to determine the new World Heavyweight champion takes place at Night of Champions in Jeddah on Saturday, May 27. The belt will be property of the Raw brand, due to WWE and Universal champion Roman Reigns being selected to SmackDown in last weekend's Draft.
