SPOILER On AEW Plans For Bryan Danielson

AEW plans for Bryan Danielson revealed

Bryan Danielson is winding down his full-time career in All Elite Wrestling, but potential spoilers have been revealed as to creative plans for the ‘American Dragon’ going forward.

Danielson is currently 0-3 in pay-per-view bouts in 2024, suffering high-profile losses to Eddie Kingston, Will Ospreay, and The Elite, but a report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter suggests that Danielson is planned to ‘regroup’ from his major losses as he closes in on retirement.

The former Ring of Honor World Champion is currently a participant in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, with a first-round bout against Shingo Takagi set for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30. Whilst it’s not known at the time of writing if Danielson is set to advance in the tournament, many fans have predicted a Danielson win, with the winner of the tournament set to challenge for the AEW World Championship at All In from Wembley Stadium in August.

Danielson’s current AEW deal is believed to be set to expire before All In, and despite ‘The Goat’ saying he intends to step away from full-time competition, he has admitted that he never plans to fully retire from professional wrestling.
