Steve Austin Teases He's Open To WWE WrestleMania 41 Appearance

WWE WrestleMania 41 appearance possible for Steve Austin

Stone Cold Steve Austin has largely resisted the urge the lace up his boots since retiring at WrestleMania 19 in 2003, with Austin coming out of retirement just once for a main event brawl with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38.

However, Austin has teased that he could be tempted to show up to WrestleMania 41 in 2025, with an appearance possible as Austin told The Athletic:

“I said I won’t leave Nevada. It’s hard to get me out of this state,” Austin said. “But … WrestleMania next year is in Vegas. That’s in Nevada.”

Austin allegedly turned down an appearance at WrestleMania XL in Philadelphia, with a spot reportedly pencilled in for the ‘Texas Rattlesnake’ during the wild night two main event between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes.

Whilst nothing has been suggested for Austin at Mania 41 - should WWE and Austin agree on some sort of appearance - long-time fans will be hoping for Austin vs. CM Punk, with a match between the two one of the last true dream matches possible.

Austin has main evented WrestleMania on four occasions, closing the show at Mania 14, 15, 17, and 38 night one.
