TNA Signs Mike Santana

He's looking to make a splash as a singles star.

TNA Wrestling have announced that they have officially signed Mike Santana.

Santana returned to the company at the Rebellion pay-per-view last weekend, where he defeated Steve Maclin in an impromptu match. He had previously wrestled for TNA/IMPACT between 2017 and 2019.

Following his victory, Santana made it known that he was seeking singles gold, saying:

"I'm here for the top spot. So, everybody watching, everybody that's sitting high in their tree, everybody that's sitting comfortably, take a look at me. I'm gonna be real, I'm gonna say it to you now so that there's no he said, she said. There's no bullsh*t that needs to be spewed, you heard it from the source himself. I am coming for your damn spots. I'm coming for your spots. Now feast your eyes. You just witnessed the return of the motherf***ing realest".

Santana participated in TNA's television tapings the day after Rebellion.

Santana, alongside former tag partner Ortiz, had wrestled for AEW from 2019 but he left the company in early March. It was reported that he had been unhappy in Tony Khan's promotion for some time and was frustrated when his singles push went nowhere.
