W. Morrissey Sets Sights On IMPACT World Championship

He defeated Willie Mack at the weekend

W. Morrissey says he has his sights set on becoming the IMPACT World Heavyweight Champion.

Morrissey defeated Willie Mack at IMPACT Under Siege on Saturday, having made his debut for the promotion at IMPACT Rebellion last month. The former 'Big Cass' was stopped from further assaulting Mack after the match by former IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann.

Speaking before the match at the weekend, Morrissey indicated his eyes were firmly set on becoming the IMPACT World Champion.

Speaking to WrestleZone, he said: "I don’t think anybody gets into the industry and goes into a specific company without their sights set on the top. So, whether it’s Kenny Omega or one of the six people that are in the number one contender’s match this weekend at Under Siege, whoever ends up being the IMPACT World Champion is someone that I have my sights set on.

"Whether I have to go through five more people to get to that person, or two more people or 45 people to get to the IMPACT World Champion, that’s where I have my sights set."

Moose is the new number one contender to Kenny Omega's IMPACT World Title after winning the number one contender match at Under Siege.
