Will Ospreay To Challenge For International Title At AEW Double Or Nothing 2024

Will Ospreay vs. Roderick Strong set for AEW Double Or Nothing

Will Ospreay will have his first opportunity to win gold at Double or Nothing 2024 since going full-time with All Elite Wrestling.

Ospreay won a Casino Gauntlet on the April 24 edition of AEW Dynamite to earn a shot at the International Championship. He will challenge Roderick Strong for the belt at Double or Nothing on May 26 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Gauntlet saw Ospreay overcome Jay White, Dante Martin, Penta El Zero Miedo, Kyle O'Reilly, Lance Archer, Komander, and Jay Lethal. Ospreay picked up the win after hitting Komander with the Hidden Blade.

Ospreay hesitated using the Storm Driver '93 in the match, having announced he was retiring the move following his win over Bryan Danielson at Dynasty. Don Callis questioned why Ospreay didn't use the move on Dynamite and encouraged the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion to use it against Roderick Strong at Double or Nothing due to Strong's past neck issues.

Already announced for Double or Nothing is Willow Nightingale vs. Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship. The show will emanate from the MGM Grand once again.
