WrestleMania 37 Rain Delay Pulled From WWE Network

No more Samoa Joe and Michael Cole in ponchos on WWE Network

Following inclement weather around Raymond James Stadium, the opening of WrestleMania 37 was historic as The Showcase Of The Immortals began with a weather delay.

The first 34 minutes of the show were filled with impromptu promos from the likes of The New Day, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon and fans were also greeted by Michael Cole and Samoa Joe dressed in ponchos.

Fans hoping to look back at the weather delay are out of luck, though. The WWE Network version of WrestleMania 37 night one has been edited to remove the delay and the show now skips straight to Drew McIntyre vs. Bobby Lashley following the rendition of 'America the Beautiful' from Bebe Rexha and Hulk Hogan and Titus O'Neil's introduction.

This isn't the only content WWE has been editing on the Network recently. Since WWE Network migrated over to Peacock in the United States, the streaming service has been editing content to ensure it fits in with their standards and practices. The changes have then been carried over to the international version of WWE Network.
