WWE Makes Interesting Change To Rhea Ripley's Status Following Return

Rhea Ripley now a babyface on WWE TV

WWE have changed Rhea Ripley's status within the company, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, and the former Women's World Champion is now internally listed as a babyface. Ripley's stablemates in Judgment Day, however, remain internally listed as heels.

The change in Ripley's status comes after she returned to WWE on the July 8 edition of Monday Night Raw. Ripley had been off TV since April due to an injury caused by a backstage attack from Liv Morgan. Liv has since won the Women's World Championship and grown closer to Dominik Mysterio to the point the pair were about to kiss on Raw when Ripley made her surprise return, chasing off Liv and showing her displeasure towards Mysterio.

If babyface turns are planned for other members of Judgment Day is unknown but Damian Priest has been more of a respectable heel in recent months as World Heavyweight Champion, even reneging on the stipulation that stopped Seth Rollins from challenging for the World Heavyweight Title again while he was champion.

The change also means Ripley is a babyface on WWE TV for the first time since 2022 when she actually turned on Liv Morgan and joined Judgment Day soon after.
