WWE Very Happy With Odyssey Jones' Raw Debut

WWE happy with Odyssey Jones and his Raw debut

The WWE backstage reaction to Odyssey Jones' Raw debut has been revealed.

PWInsider has reported there was "a lot of happiness" within WWE due to the social media numbers generated by Odyssey Jones' main roster debut. Jones also looks set for a bright future, with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H endorsing Odyssey on X following the Raw debut.

Odyssey Jones made his debut on Monday Night Raw on August 5, helping the New Day defeat Authors of Pain. Jones then saved Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston from a post-match attack by AOP, during which he took out Akam and Rezar with a Double Sidewalk Slam.

Jones hasn't joined the New Day but he looks set to be aligned with the group for the time being, although Xavier Woods expressed his uncertainty around Jones, noting he didn't know that Odyssey and Kofi Kingston were friends.

Jones was originally called up to the main roster back in April 2023. The 30-year-old had been utilised on WWE house shows and in dark matches during his time away from TV, wrestling 16 times.
