Xia Li's First Post-WWE Match Revealed

Xia Li returning to the ring later this year

Former WWE talent Xia Lee (FKA Xia Li) will have her first match outside of a WWE ring in the coming months.

It has been announced that Lee will compete at West Coast Pro's Queen of Indies event on Saturday, August 17 at the United Irish Culture Center in San Francisco, California. Other talents announced for the show include Amazona, Keyra, Maya World, and the Great Sakuya, who is the kayfabe daughter of Great Muta

West Coast Pro and Pro Wrestling Revolution collaborated to run a Queen of Indies show in May 2023, which was ultimately won by Masha Slamovich.

Xia Lee has been a free agent since she was released by WWE in April along with the likes of WWE Champion Jinder Mahal, Veer, Sanga, Xyon Quinn, Von Wagner, and Cameron Grimes. Lee is available for bookings from July 18 following the end of her WWE non-compete.

Lee had been a part of WWE since January 2017, having signed with the company following a tryout in Shanghai, China. She had an extended run in NXT and received a push as part of Tian Sha with Mei Ying and Boa before Li moved to the main roster in 2021. She only won five of her 31 televised matches on Raw and SmackDown, however.
