2 More Matches Announced For AEW Fyter Fest 2020

Night one of Fyter Fest 2020 is only two weeks away and the card is starting to take shape. Three bouts have already been added to the show as Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Brian Cage, Cody will face off against Jake Hager for the TNT Championship, and Best Friends will try to take the AEW World Tag Team Titles from "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega.
Chris Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy and Hikaru Shida vs. Penelope Ford for the AEW World Women's Championship were added to the card last night. Le Champion and Freshly Squeezed have been feuding ever since Cassidy walked through an Inner Circle interview three weeks ago.
Since then, Orange has confronted Jericho after The Painmaker called out the baddest man on the planet, and the former AEW World Champion has beaten Best Friends best friend with a sack of oranges. The feud only intensified last night after Cassidy cost Le Sex Gods an AEW World Tag Team Titles match at Fyter Fest as he tripped up Sammy Guevara while disguised as a cameraman. This gave Trent? the opening he needed to hit his finisher on The Spanish God for the win.
Orange then revealed himself as the cameraman and delivered a hellacious Superman Punch to Le Champion, setting up their match at the July special.
Penelope Ford also earned a shot at the AEW World Women's Championship after she pinned Hikaru Shida in a tag team match on last week's edition of Dynamite. Neither wrestler featured prominently last night, but the promotion announced the two stars will face off for the title in July.
