All the action from AEW All In 2024

It’s August, the weather in the UK is miserable, and it is time once again for All Elite Wrestling to go All In with the second annual AEW All In live from London’s iconic Wembley Stadium.

The stakes are even greater than All In 2023, with Bryan Danielson putting his career on the line against AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, never mind several other title matches that could decide the future of AEW.

So what happened at All In? We have all the results after the jump…

Zero Hour: Top Flight, Action Andretti, Kip Sabian, Kyle Fletcher, Lio Rush, Tommy Billington, & Rocky Romero def. Private Party, The Dark Order, Jay Lethal, Satnam Singh, Ariya Daivari, & Anthony Ogogo

Last minute addition to the card, this one was fast paced, with lots of quick tags. Kip Sabian and Anthony Ogogo finally got to wrestle in Wembley after being part of the broadcast team for All In 2023, and before long it broke down into a mass brawl all over the ringside area. Lio Rush found himself all alone against the massive Satnam Singh, but before Singh could launch him like a dart Rush’s teammates came in for the save… only to be thwarted by the big man.

The heels isolated Action Andretti as they looked for the win, but he eventually got the hot tag to Kip Sabian. ‘Superbad’ nailed a lovely Sabu style moonsault onto Silver and Evil Uno on the outside whilst Kyle Flethcer ran wild in the ring. The faces nailed synchronised dives onto the outside to a nice reaction, but Private Party soon got momentum back on their side, nailing Sabian with Silly String and Gin & Juice, but ate a double DDT from Rocky Romero for their troubles. Everyone got their time to shine with a parade of finishers, until Dante Martin nailed an alley oop frog splash onto Daivari for the win.

Zero Hour: Willow Nightingale & Tomohiro Ishii def. Kris Statlander & Stokely Hathaway

Stokely Hathaway channeled ‘Remember the Time’ era Michael Jackson for his entrance before heralding Krist Statlander to the ring ahead of this one, with the winners getting to decide the stipulation for Statlander vs. Nightingale at All out in two weeks time.

After being disrobed, Stokely started off with Ishii, but instantly tagged out the little wimp. Stat and Willow jostled for position as the Wembley faithful got behind ‘The Babe with the Power’. Huge AA Spinebuster for two for Willow, but Stokely dropped the ropes as Willow crashed to the floor, halting her momentum. Stat crushed Nightingale with a diving crossbody, but her lap of honour only gave Willow time to hit a discus lariat. Stat regrouped to hit a suplex on the floor before taking it back into the ring, taunting ‘Big Tom’ as she worked over her former BFF.

Stat got a nearfall off a Blue Thunder Bomb, but Willow would not stay down, firing back with a series of hard shots and a Spicolli Driver beofre crawling over and tagging in Ishii. Stokely tried chopping ‘The Stone Pitbull’ to no avail before Ishii rocked him with a series of forearms and shoulders. Stat stopped a Brainbuster attempt and teed off on Ishii, rocking him a forearm before Stokely hit a gorgeous Spinebuster to take the big man down. Ishii popped straight back up though, and despite Stokely hitting 10 punches in the corner Ishii folded him with a powerbomb for two. Willow Pounce on Stat then Ishii folded Stokely for the win. Advantage Willow heading into All Out.

Zero Hour: Sammy Guevara, Dustin Rhodes, The Von Erichs, & Katsuyori Shibata def. Cage Of Agony & Undisputed Kingdom

Big boos for Sammy Guevara but cheers for his teammates, this didn’t bother the heels who rushed them on the ramp before the bell for a big old fashioned fight. The faces regrouped in ring for quad Shattered Dreams as the ref was distracted… then the bell finally rang.

Guevara won some of the fans over with some impressive moves when tangling with Toa Liona before crushing Bishop Kaun with a huge moonsault to the floor then a diving cutter onto Brian Cage in the ring. Cage of Agony soon got momentum on their side, working Sammy over and using quick tags to keep him on the back-foot. Bennett and Taven then got involved and put a beating on Guevara, but a missed frog splash by Taven allowed Guevara to tag in Rhodes. ‘The Natural’ hit some of his greatest hits on Undisputed Kingdom, before bringing in Shibata who got levelled by Cage. Quick action as everyone ran in to hit some moves, before Matt Taven levelled everyone with a diving splash. Dustin threatened a dive of his own but instead hit a Spinarooni before being launched to the floor by Brian Cage who then followed up with a running tope con giro. Guevara then put the icing on the cake with a big shooting star press to the floor.

In ring Dustin got a nearfall with a Texas Destroyer on Taven, but as the heels hit a Tower of Doom, Shibata had Bennett locked into a sleeper hold. Dustin got a big reaction with a Crossrhoads on Taven but the heels broke up the pin attempt. Parade of finishers by the heels, with Cage of Agony dropping Shibata on the back of his head with a triple powerbomb, then one to Dustin Rhodes for a two count. The faces got the upper hand and outnumbered Bennett in the ring, Shibata hitting the big corner dropkick before a beautiful Essa Rios moonsault by Marshall Von Erich. Big Senton by Guevara allowed Rhodes to get the pinfall on Taven.

The heels then put a beating on the faces, but Kevin Von Erich ran in to lock on the infamous Iron Claw, with the faces following suit.

———

Saraya came to the ring with Harley Cameron and the Knight Family to a mixed reaction… to put it kindly. Harley got “shut the f*** up” chants before an irate Saraya took the mic to berate the crowd, moaning how she was not on the All In card. The crowd then erupted as Jamie Hayter made her long awaited return to AEW after a year out injured. Hayter proceded to batter everyone in sight, before entering the ring to square off with Saraya to a huge ovation.

Sweet Saraya then ran in to cheapshot Hayter but it was allowed enough time for Saraya Jr. to exit the ring as Cameron ate a Hayterade to a huge pop. Welcome back.

Blackpool Combat Club & PAC def. The Patriarchy (c) & The Bang Bang Gang & The House Of Black - AEW World Trios Championships, London Ladder Match

Big brawl to start things as Christian Cage ran away like a coward. House of Black soon uncovered some tables and set them up at ringside as everyone else had a lovely punch up. Frenetic action with bodies flying everywhere, a series of topes upped with each entry, PAC nailing a huge skytwister press as a full stop. The Bang Bang Gang channelled the Dudleys in getting the tables as Brody King crushed everyone with a tope to a chorus of barks, with Cage finally returning with everyone else in the match wiped out. Brody and Claudio launched Cage over the top into everyone else who proceeded to catch the Patriarch and pummelled him without mercy.

Mama Wayne slowly made her ascent up the ladder but was cut off by The Gunns who ate a double chokeslam by Killswitch, who then chokeslammed everyone in sight for fun. Nick Wayne flew out of nowhere with a Wayne’s World on Brody off the apron through a table, as Killswitch made the climb. Cage convinced Killswitch to wait so he could grab the glory for himself, but this bought time for their opponents who sent the both of them crashing into the ropes. BCC and PAC teamed well with some tandem aerial offence whilst Bang Bang Gang threw some more tables into the ring. The Gunns then hopped on the backs of Claudio and Brody as they climbed the ladders, before all four men crashed off the rungs through the wood.

Nick Wayne got the crowd on their feet with a tope destroyer through a table on Malakai Black as Juice Robinson grabbed an unfeasibly large ladder from under the ring. As Robinson climbed the big steps, Cage sent him careening crotch first onto the top rope, before nailing a Killswitch onto PAC on an open chair then spraying Wheeler Yuta in the face before assaulting the former ROH PURE Champion with a chair and a ladder in tandem. Mama Wayne attempted to spray Juice but it was blocked, but before Robinson could put Mama through the table Killswitch arrived to boot Juice from the apron into a table.

Christian Cage speared Buddy off a ladder through a table in the corner, but PAC made sure Christian didn’t stroll to victory, launching Cage from the ladder and grabbing the belts… but what does this mean for the Blackpool Combat Club going forward?

Mariah May def. Toni Storm (c) - AEW Women’s World Championship

After a short video showed a picture of Toni Storm in Wembley in 1924 - huge Overlook Hotel vibes - Luther returned to herald Toni Storm to the ring, but will this be enough to overcome a driven Mariah May?

Storm looked dejected as she went face-to-face with Mariah, before the two started throwing hands. The crowd were firmly behind the champ despite May being on home soil, with ‘The Glamour’ unaffected as she stomped Storm in the corner. Mina Shirakawa watched on from a box with Rachael Ellering, as May continued her assault. Toni absorbed chops before dishing out some of her own and a DDT to regain some momentum.

Mariah crushed Storm with a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor, then toyed with her former mentor with a Mariah-go-round spin in the ring. Mariah stayed on top with a butterfly lock and bodyscissors, before planting a firm slap onto the champ’s face. Toni hit a Lou Thesz Press but Mariah fired back, a flying knee off the apron taking Toni down once more, before May dropkicked Luther into the railings for fun. Mariah then slapped her mother in the front row, but this allowed Storm to hit the ‘hip’ attack through the ropes. Storm Zero Piledriver on the steps gave the champ some breathing room as she tended to Mariah’s mum.

A bloodied Mariah cried in ring as Storm took control with some corner punches, then ate a slap after spitting in Toni’s face. Sky High for two for Storm, but Mariah fired back with a missile dropkick and a trio of corner hip attacks with a smile on her face. Storm rose with a lariat as May went for a fourth hip attack, then launched the challenger with a release German Suplex and a hip attack into a Storm Zero… for two as May flipped Storm off.

Toni wrenched May’s finger as the two exchanged duelling slaps. May booted Storm in the crotch as the ref was distracted, so Storm gave her one back before the two headbutted each other and crashed into the mat. Mayday by Mariah also got a two, but as the challenger went for the title belt Luther appeared to stop her and flip her off to a pop. Mariah went for the shoe, but Toni stopped her. Tonin went to use the shoe herself but couldn’t, giving Mariah time to roll through a Storm Zero then hit a pair of running knees and a Storm Zero of her own for the win and the title. Toni’s time is over, now it’s all about The Glamour.

As May walked off into the sunset with her title, Storm didn’t know whether to laugh or cry as the Wembley crowd chanted her name.

HOOK def. Chris Jericho (c) - FTW Championship

Fozzy took to the stage as a smiling Learning Tree and associates made their way to the ring, before HOOK channelled his dad Taz by coming to the ring to the sound of a heart monitor before his theme kicked in.

FTW Rules so anything goes, as Big Bill and Bryan Keith laid a beating upon the challenger. All three men demolished HOOK, with Big Bill getting another rapturous reaction from the UK fans. Codebreaker for one as HOOK showed his mettle, before suplexing Bryan Keith and launching Bill to the floor. Deadlift German Suplex flattened Jericho, then a T-Bone on the champ. Lionsault by Jericho restored momentum in his favour, with ‘The Learning Tree’ grabbing a pool cue and a bag of cricket balls from beneath the ring. HOOK regrouped to back suplex Jericho then grabbed a cricket bat, smacking Keith and Bill with the bat, before smacking balls into Jericho in the ring.

HOOK choked Jericho with the bat, then used it on Jericho’s yambag to hit a T-Bone suplex before Keith rushed HOOK with a bin lid. Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho, but HOOK fought out and locked in one of his own before being crumpled by Big Bill. Keith pummelled HOOK as Bill grabbed a table whilst the fans chanted his name. Keith then lay a barbed wire board on top of the table, but HOOK fought out of a Big Bill chokeslam only to be rushed by Jericho. Jericho toyed with a blinded swinging HOOK then cracked a bin off the top of the challenger’s head. HOOK regrouped and swerved a Judas Effect to hit a release belly-to-belly suplex, before ripping off his eyepatch and continuing his suplex frenzy on ‘Le Champion’. Bill hopped on the apron to grab HOOK, but Jericho inadvertently smacked his muscle with a pool cue to send him through the barbed wire table. Keith then clocked HOOK, then got choked out by Taz as HOOK locked Redrum on Jericho for the tap out win and the title.

The Young Bucks (c) def. FTR & The Acclaimed - AEW World Tag Team Championships

FTR got a rapturous reaction, with the crowd singing along with the ‘Top Guys’ theme music during their entrance. Huge boos then for the AEW World Tag Team Champions, who came out dressed as Sgt. Peppers era Beatles - Mathew was John, Nicholas was Paul - then it was time for The Acclaimed to enter the arena, to a huge chant of ‘SCISSOR ME DADDY’ before freestyling their way to the ring, even saying FTR looked like members of the EDL. Yikes.

Caster and Harwood kicked off, with FTR and Acclaimed clashing in ring before turning their attention to the Bucks and laying a beating on our EVPs before sending them packing. Acclaimed hit Wheeler with some double team offence before Nicholas Jackson tagged himself in to boos. The Bucks hit a neckbreaker backbreaker combo on Max Caster then grounded Wheeler for a spell before Cash fought back with a big clothesline. With no Harwood available, Cash had to tag in Bowens who ran wild on The Bucks, crushing Nicholas Jackson with a superkick for two. Double Scissor Me Timbers on both Bucks by The Acclaimed then a nice little scissor party.

Dax Harwood tagged in to hit multiple German suplexes on Bowens, then the same on Caster, then the same on Mathew Jackson, then a double German on both Bucks at once before Wheeler ran back in to join his partner at the suplex party for two. FTR and The Acclaimed combined for a Powerplex on Mathew Jackson but Wheeler ate nothing but knees, with all six men avoiding splashes and ending up flat out as referee Rick Knox started the standing ten count.

The Bucks ran wild, but a Meltzer Driver attempt was thwarted, allowing FTR to hit the Shatter Machine for two, with Nicholas Jackson pulling Rick Knox out of the ring at two. Nicholas ran wild, superkicking Daddy Ass then hitting an X-factor tornado DDT sequence on Harwood then Bowens. Max Caster and Mathew Jackson combined to hit an EVP trigger on Harwood, then Caster and Wheeler hit a Shatter Machine on Mathew Jackson for good measure. FTR came close with a pin attempt but were thwarted by a flying Bowens, as the crowd chanted ‘SCISSOR ME DADDY’ at full volume.

With the ref distracted the Jackson hit mule kicks on The Acclaimed’s plums, then pumped up their Reeboks for a superkick party. Nicholas Jackson grabbed the AEW World Tag Team Title belts, but Billy Gunn was on hand to hit a Fameasser on Mathew onto a title, allowing The Acclaimed to hit the Mic Drop for two, Nicholas Jackson making the save for his older brother. Cash Wheeler took out The Acclaimed with a tope suicida, before Nicholas Jackson nailed Harwood with the title belt, then an EVP Trigger as the Bucks retained the straps.

As The Bucks celebrated, top Scousers Grizzled Young Veterans rushed the ring to stare down the champs, then flattened Cash Wheeler with a Grit Your Teeth as they sent a message to the entire tag team division.

Christian Cage Wins The Casino Gauntlet Match

A classic Mr. Bean entrance for Orange Cassidy, who was then joined by Kazuchika Okada, with OC and ‘The Rainmaker’ kicking this one off for a shot at the AEW World Championship.

Okada hugged his old CHAOS stablemate, but it was a ruse as he lay waste to the former AEW International Champion. OC avoided a Rainmaker attempt and ran wild, but Okada soon levelled Cassidy with a flapjack before Oasis’ classic ‘F****** In The Bushes’ blared out as Nigel McGuinness made his way to the ring to a huge ovation.

McGuinness did some World of Sport movements then crumpled Okada with a big slap, Wembley delighted to see the former Ring of Honor World Champion. Two count as Nigel flattened OC before entrant four arrived; Kyle O’Reilly.

Clash of the former ROH Champs, with Nigel missing a Jawbreaker Lariat, allowing Kyle to hit a PK and a knee strike on Nigel for two as Okada broke it up. O’Reilly locked an armbreaker on Okada, Nigel came in for a wristlock on Kyle, then Cassidy hit a Stundog Millionaire on Nigel followed by a Kyle Axe Kick as the Conglomeration ran wild.

Entrant number five you d***heads, as Zack Sabre Jr. made his way to the ring to another big pop, OC and KOR welcoming the G1 winner into the bout. ZSJ broke the necks of OC and Kyle, then Wembley came unglued as ZSJ and McGuinness squared off. European Uppercuts exchanged by both men, then a series of pin attempts with ZSJ getting a two. Okada broke it up to boos to square off with Zack, but Sabre locked in an octopus only to eat a neckbreaker from the Rainmaker. Okada received a lot of boos as he flipped the crowd the finger, but ZSJ countered by flicking him the Vs before getting kicked in the chest by Kyle O’Reilly.

Entrant number six as Mr. ROH himself Roderick Strong entered the fray, dishing out backbreakers by the dozen, before the next entrant quickly made their way to the ring.

Entrant seven - ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe, who ran wild with some Redneck Kung Fu to a chorus of ‘DEM BOYS’ chants, before getting launched to the outside by ZSJ. Kyle locked in an ankle lock on ZSJ, then suplexed Sabre who was then crushed with a flipping neckbreaker on the floor by Briscoe. Briscoe then used a chair Sabu style to nail a tope to cheers.

Entrant number eight as a frankly furious Hangman Page walked to the ring with a face like pure thunder. Page caught OC mid-tope then flattened Briscoe and O’Reilly in-ring. Page hit a diving lariart on ZSJ on the apron, then launched OC with a fallaway slam before crushing Okada with a tope, then powerbombinb Strong into the apron. OC avoided the Buckshot Lariat but was caught with a Deadeye before the next entrant came out…

WEEE WOOOOO entrant number nine Jeff Jarrett to a heroes welcome before Double J squared off with Hangman as the two grizzled bastards exchanged punches in the middle of the ring. Jarrett ran wild with those famous Memphis style punches and a Fargo strut to a pop. Jarrett went for the corner punches but Hangman caught Jarrett and powerbombed him over the top rope then grabbed Karen Jarrett on the apron.

Karen was spared Hangman’s wrath as entrant ten came out - a debuting Ricochet as Wembley once again exploded. Ricochet ran wild, outmanoeuvring Page then folding Kyle with a diving forearm. Ricochet then took to the skies with a springboard Shooting Star Press to the floor as the crowd went wild. As Ricochet and Page tangled up top entrant eleven made their way to the ring… Christian Cage.

Ricochet dove onto Cage before he could enter the ring, but ate a Buckshot for his troubles… for two as Okada kicked Hangman in the head to break up the pin attempt. Hangman and Okada came face-to-face, but Hangman came out on top, but Karen Jarrett stopped Hangman from hitting the Buckshot as Jeff smashed a guitar over Page’s head. Okada Rainmaker on Jarrett, but one on ZSJ was countered as OC ran back in with Orange Punches. ZSJ came close with a series of pin attempts on OC, but Cassidy nailed an Orange Punch. Bodies were flying everywhere, Nigel hitting the Tower of London on O’Reilly for a nearfall to a huge ovation. Jawbreaker on Kyle, but Cage ran in with the spear as entrant twelve came to the ring.

Entrant 12... Luchasaurus. Killswitch is no more… or so we thought as he faked an attack on Cage only to chokeslam O’Reilly to hand Christian Cage the win and the AEW World Championship opportunity. Fun match.

MJF (c) vs. Will Ospreay - AEW American Championship

A breakdance troupe threw shapes to pulsating drums, a tie in with the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Shadows video game. A video package played tying in The Aerial Assassin with his favourite video game series, before an obviously huge reaction for Ospreay as he made his way once more into Wembley Stadium. The cheers were replaced by jeers as MJF made his way to the ring in full Apollo Creed get-up, complete with flag wavers hoisting Old Glory into the London evening air.

The two came out of the traps with fists, before Friedman retreated to the floor. Ospreay was undeterred, hitting the Sasuke special onto the champ before a Hidden Blade attempt, MJF scouting it and trapping Ospreay with headshots and eye rakes. The fight spilled to the floor, with MJF nailing a big boot into the guardrail to huge boos, then sending Ospreay flying with a big back body drop on the floor.

MJF scouted an Oscutter before the two exchanged pinfall attempts, MJF getting a two after a nasty powerbomb into his knee. Ospreay attempted to fire up but MJF just wouldn’t let him into the bout, even mocking Ospreay with a kangaroo kick and kip up to yet more boos. Ospreay avoided a Heatseeker and nailed a Phenomenal Forearm, with MJF clutching his knee as he went down. Ospreay built some momentum, hitting his textbook sideflip kick to take MJF down for two. MJF was reeling as Ospreay firmly took control of the bout, but it was all possum as MJF caught Ospreay during a second Sasuke Special attempt to nail a Tombstone on the floor.

MJF taunted Ospreay, saying he wasn’t special and anyone can do a flip, before missing a beautiful Asai moonsault, only to land on his feet and eat a Spanish Fly on the floor from Ospreay. Ospreay hung the champ on the middle rope and hit a Shooting Star Press to MJF’s back for two, but a follow up Stormbreaker attempt was reversed into a Crossrhoads by MJF for a nearfall. MJF called for the Brainbuster but ate a Sundog Billionaire then an Oscutter, but Ospreay could only get a two. A second Oscutter got another two as MJF got to the ropes, but MJF rolled through another Stormbreaker attempt to hit a beautiful jumping piledriver for two, as MJF continued to focus his attacks on Ospreay’s neck.

Big rolling elbow crumpled Ospreay, but he recovered to rollthrough a clothesline attempt to hit a Stormbreaker for two as MJF clung on to his title. Ospreay readied for the Hidden Blade but MJF rolled to the apron, moving last second as Ospreay went for an Oscutter on the edge of the ring. MJF threw out a f*** you to former partner Adam Cole by nailing a Long Island Sunrise on the apron to loud ‘holy s***’ chants. A rocked Ospreay barely beat the ringside ten count, and collapsed as MJF threatened a Hidden Blade. MJF used the time to taunt the crowd, but ate a hookkick after Ospreay avoided a Heatseeker, with Ospreay nailing an apron Oscutter to a cost as he grabbed his shoulder after planting MJF.

Ospreay recovered and went fo a Hidden Blade off the apron but absolutely decimated a cameraman, as MJF scurried into the ring with his title belt in hand - unbeknownst to Ospreay and the ref. Ospreay had MJF scouted with a hook kick, but as he went for the Hidden Blade he ate nothing but title belt, but still had enough to kick out at two. MJF instantly followed up with a Brainbuster but again Ospreay kicked out. MJF went to attack Ospreay but Will avoided it, then elbowed MJF into the ref who spilled to the floor. No ref so MJF went for a Tiger Driver, only for an incensed Ospreay to go for the move but getting a punch to the yambag for his troubles. With no Dynamite Diamond Ring, MJF grabbed some brassknucks only to be stopped by a mask man - a returning Daniel Garcia who sent the champ reeling. MJF threw abuse at Garcia at ringside, then ate a Hidden Blade before Ospreay got the champ up for the Tiger Driver for the three and the title.

Christopher Daniels then hit the ring to present Ospreay with the AEW International Championship title as fireworks lit up Wembley.

Mercedes Moné (c) def. Britt Baker - TBS Championship

A gold carriage, beefeaters, corgis, and Kamille all serenaded Mercedes Moné to the ring, with the ‘CEO’ looking regal in a large cloak and red white and blue hair.

Moné started with the shenanigans right away, nailing Baker with a dropkick after Kamille grabbed the Dentist. Britt went for an early Lockjaw attempt, but Mercedes bailed to the floor and the safety of Kamille’s shoulder before hoisting the title high in the air. Baker again went  for Lockjaw to no avail, as Moné fired back with strikes. Kamille distracted Baker as she went up top, with Moné hitting a backbreaker onto the top turnbuckle for two. Mercedes was in control and very confidant, but whatever she hit Britt with she could only muster a two. Slingshot backbreaker for two for Moné, and a second turned into a stretch over the knee.

Britt tried fighting back but her back gave out when she went for the twisting fisherman’s suplex. Three Amigos for two for Mercedes as frustration crept upon her face, the crowd chanting for both ‘CEO’ and ‘DMD’. The two made their way up top, but Moné managed to pick Baker up for an avalanche body slam, but a follow-up Bret’s rope splash caught nothing but knees. Stomp attempt by baker was transitioned into a powerbomb, but Moné’s attempts at a follow-up was met with a cutter. Baker built some momentum with a neckbreaker and a slingblade, but the pain from her back was etched on her face as Baker hit a form of an Angel’s Wings for two. Baker donned the glove for Lockjaw, but again Moné fought out. A frustrated champ tried to put the challenger away, but ate an Air Raid Crash before Baker mounted for punches and another Air Raid Crash attempt, with Moné rversing into a Money Maker which itself was reversed.

Moné with the Backstabber as the crowd erupted in duelling chants before Britt hit a form of a Cheeky Nandos before the two once again went up top. Moné went for another avalanche bodyslam but Baker span through into one of her own as the crowd erupted in applause. Baker stomp got two as Kamille got Moné to the ropes. Baker was focused on Kamille as Moné went for a belt shot, referee Paul Turner grabbing the title. Kamille went to hit Baker with the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship but Baker did the Eddie Guerrero feint to get Kamille ejected from ringside as the crowd sang nanana to the former NWA Women’s World Champion.Baker with the Panama Sunrise and the stomp but Moné kicked out at the last moment. Baker finally got the Lockjaw but Moné bit down on Britt’s fingers to break the hold, with the two locked in and exchanging pin attempts. Moné with the Money Maker for the 1-2-3 and the successful title defence.

Jack Perry (c) def. Darby Allin - TNT Championship Coffin Match

Darby was channelling the Cenobites, with pins glued all over his face for this fight. A smirking Jack Perry returned to Wembley Stadium, this time dragging a bodybag behind him as the screens showed shattered glass. Real glass I hope.

Darby crushed Perry with a tope suicida from the off, then wailed on Perry with a chair. Darby sat Perry down the ground his face with tack covered visage, before crumpling Perry with a diving missile dropkick to the floor. Darby followed up by leaning Perry on a freestanding coffin, but came off the worst when crashing into the casket with a tope suicida. Perry then got massive cheers as he poured real glass all over the ring apron, but Darby sent Perry into the glass then followed up with a skateboard bombdrop as loud ‘F*** CM PUNK’ chants erupted. Darby set up for a Coffin Drop on the apron but Perry sent him crashing to the floor.

On the floor Perry taped Darby’s hands together, but Allin wasn’t deterred, seeing an opening and hitting a quick Coffin Drop to the floor on Perry. The two fought up the ramp, Perry hitting a slugging powerbomb onto the ramp before taking Darby’s belt and whipping him with it and binding his ankles with it. Perry mocked Darby then threw him from the stage throw some tables before triumphantly retrieving the bodybag and coffin. Perry zipped Allin into the bag then dragged him to the coffin, but Darby managed to burst through the bag only to eat a running knee from Perry who closed the lid for the quick decisive win. Darby loses his first ever coffin match.

The Young Bucks then made their way down the ramp with a can of gasoline as a gleeful Perry opened the coffin back up. Darby was soaked in petrol, then the lid was closed and doused before the lights in Wembley went out. Seek & Destroy blared over the PA as Sting made his way out to a huge ovation. Bat in hand, Sting whalloped the Jackson then no-sold a chairshot from Perry who hightailed it. Sting hit double Scorpion Death Drops on the EVPs then helped Darby up the ramp.

Swerve Strickland (c) vs. Bryan Danielson - AEW World Championship, Title vs. Career

A video package showed highlights of Danielson’s career and candid shots of his family, before the Final Countdown played potentially for one last time as The American Dragon made his way to the ring, the Wembley faithful singing along with Europe as Jim Ross joined the commentary team for this one.

DJ Whoo Kid got on the mic to ask the UK whose house this is, as triumphant music played bringing out a Black Panther inspired Swerve Strickland, as Prince Nana placed Jimmy Rave’s robes over the champ’s shoulders as he was serenaded to the ring by Flash Garments and Bun B. Prince Nana led the crowd in ‘WHOSE HOUSE’ chants with the anticipation at fever pitch for this one.

Big match in-ring introductions from Justin Roberts who shouted out the Danielson family as Bryan raised his arms to huge cheers. Boos for Swerve as he was introduced, the AEW World Champion’s face a picture of calm throughout.

Counter wrestling soon gave way to stiff strikes as both men looked for an opening, champion and challenger coming forehead-to-forehead before Danielson armwrung the champ straight into his shoulder. Danielson went for a quick Labell lock to no avail, with Swerve slingshotting Danielson to the floor then hitting an apron jaw kick. Danielson scouted a tope attempt but Swerve landed on his feet with Danielson hitting a springboard cannonball to YES chants.

Danielson with his trademark corner flip, but Strickland had him scouted and reversed the follow up diving clothesline into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Swerve hung Bryan in the corner and nailed a pinpoint dropkick to the knee, but a trip up top gave Danielson a way back into the bout. Apron slap exchange into a rope hung armbar for the challenger, but Strickland hoisted Danielson up, ref Paul Turner getting an inadvertent boot the face as Prince Nana put the ring bell on the apron ready for a Swerve Spicolli Driver to boos. A bleeding Danielson beat the ref’s count but Swerve was firmly in control, dragging Danielson in front of his family to hit the armtrap stomps before berating Birdie Danielson. Strickland hung Danielson up on the top rope then drove Bryan into the ring with a big backdrop. Swerve went for the stomp but Danielson was playing possum and rolled through into a Regal Stretch, before clubbing Strickland with a big lariat. Danielson nailed a second lariat as adrenaline surged, Bryan hitting the corner B Plus kicks before eating a Flatliner for two. Danielson would not stay down, hitting a big Tiger Suplex across the ring before grabbing his well documented injured neck.

Yes Kicks from the challenger had the champ on the ropes  - literally - as Danielson continued his kicks in the corner before hitting an avalanche Tiger Suplex for a nearfall. Danielson vowed to kick Swerve’s f****** head in as he locked in the arm trap stomps then transitioned into Cattle Mutilation in the centre of the ring. Swerve fought back to his feet and transitioned into a Kryptonite Krunch as the ref called for Dr. Sampson at ringside. Strickland chased the medical team off as the ref allowed the match to continue, Strickland going up top for a Swerve Stomp and hitting it with authority… for two. Two Housecall Kicks by Swerve as the crowd booed, Danielson crawling towards the corner and his family as the crowd cheered him on. House Call number three but still Danielson kicked out.

No chants as Swerve pepered Danielson with chest kicks, but this fired up the American Dragon who shouted his love for his family before firing back with Yes Kicks as Wembley went berserk. Danielson rolled into a triangle choke and elbows, but Swerve powered up. Danielson hit a Regalplex to send the champ flying before hitting the Yes pose and the Busaiko Knee into the corner… but Swerve brushed it off and hit another House Call kick. Swerve looked at Danielson’s family as he nailed a JML Driver/Big Pressure, but again Danielson kicked out as the crowd went nuts. Swerve mocked Danielson with Yes thrusts of his own as Hangman Page appeared at ringside to throw hands with security. Page then threw Nana to the floor before being swarmed by security and dragged up the ramp, the distraction allowing Danielson to hit a second Busaiku knee… for two.

Danielson and Swerve stood face-to-face once more and exchanged strikes. Danielson went for a LeBell lock, Swerve went for another Big Pressure, but Danielson hit a Busaiku Knee and led Wembley in Yes Chants before locking in the LeBell Lock in the centre of the ring. Swerve fought free, but Danielson snapped Swerve’s fingers and locked it back in, Strickland giving up as Danielson got the win and the AEW World Championship.

PAC, Wheeler Yuta, and Claudio Castagnoli came down and brought the Danielson family into the ring to celebrate with the new chant as the crowd sang The Final Countdown. The Best in the World does it once again.
