AEW Drops International TV Deal

AEW off TV in a number of major markets

All Elite Wrestling have dropped their TV deal in several major markets.

The promotion has announced that they will no longer air on Space in Mexico, South America, Central America, and the Caribbean, although content will continue to be broadcast on the network in Brazil. Fans in those markets except Brazil must now subscribe to AEW Plus on FITE to watch the promotion's programming, which includes Dynamite, Rampage, and Battle of the Belts.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, AEW's deal with Space was set to expire and the promotion turned down a renewal offer. AEW rejected the offer as the company believes they can make more money in those markets from AEW Plus despite the product being exposed to fewer people.

All Elite Wrestling have several TV deals outside of the United States, including in the United Kingdom where Dynamite and Rampage air on ITV4 and in the Middle East where programming is available on StarzPlay Arabia. In the United States, programming airs on TNT and TBS.
