AEW Reveals Bracket For AEW World Trios Title Tournament

The first AEW Trios Champions will be crowned at All Out

The brackets have been revealed for the long awaited AEW Trios Title Tournament with eight teams fro across AEW and beyond confirmed to fight to become the inaugural AEW Trios Champions, with the finals set to take place at All Out on September 4.

The left side of the bracket features Death Triangle (PAC, Rey Fenix, Penta El Zero M) La Faccion Ingobernable’s Andrade El Idolo, RUSH, & associate Dragon Lee, The Young Bucks and a ‘mystery partner’, and NJPW’s Will Ospreay and Aussie Open of the United Empire.

The right side of the bracket features The House of Black, The Dark Order, Trustbusters, and the Best Friends.

A big question mark hangs over Hangman Adam Page, with the former AEW World Champion turning down the Young Bucks’ offer to team with them on the August 10 Dynamite, insisting that he will be in Dark Order’s corner for the tournament. There’s still time for Page to be involved, unless the ‘mystery partner’ spot if filled by a returning Kenny Omega, or even someone else.

First round matches:

  • Death Triangle vs. Will Ospreay & Aussie Open
  • Andrade El Idolo, Dragon Lee, & Rush vs. The Young Bucks and a mystery partner
  • House of Black (Malakai Black, Brody King, & Buddy Matthews) vs. Dark Order
  • Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, & Parker Boudreaux) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Trent Beretta, & Chuck Taylor)
