Update On Mark Davis' Recovery From Undisclosed Issue

Latest on Mark Davis

Mark Davis has been out of action for 364 days and an update has emerged on the former ROH World Tag Team Champion, with Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp reporting that Davis is "progressing well" in his recovery.

Why exactly Mark Davis is out of action is unknown and those close to the 34-year-old noted that Davis' issue will be his story to tell. At no point has there been a timetable for Davis' return that was known backstage in AEW. If there was a timetable, it has been kept close to the vest within the promotion.

Davis hasn't wrestled since October 2023 when he and Aussie Open tag team partner Kyle Fletcher unsuccessfully challenged FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. Davis is believed to have suffered a broken wrist at the pay-per-view. The injury occurred only three months after Davis returned from a torn meniscus.

Kyle Fletcher has remained active during Davis' absence. He is a former ROH World Television Champion and Fletcher has been linked to Will Ospreay since his former United Empire and Don Callis Family stablemate began his full-time AEW run earlier this year.
