AEW's CM Punk And Penta Tease Tag Feud
Could Punk & Danielson vs. The Lucha Bros become reality?
Part of the lure for CM Punk rejoining the wrestling world and signing for AEW was the bevy of fresh and interesting matches available for the Second City Saint to sink his teeth into, and it seems Punk wants to team with Bryan Danielson to face current AEW World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Bros.
Punk floated the idea on Twitter during a Q&A session this past Friday, with Punk saying the match is one of his AEW dream bouts, alongside singles bouts with Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson.

It seems that Punk is not alone in wanting this match, as Penta El Zero M himself teased the bout on his Instagram account, posting a mock-up of a match graphic for Punk/Bryan vs. Lucha Bros to take place at AAA TripleMania, with the following caption:
"Qué opinan Dejen sus comentarios............. What do you guys think about this live your comments"
Punk had hinted at wanting to tag with Danielson in AEW, telling Renee Paquette on a recent Oral Sessions:
"I want to wrestle The Young Bucks. I've gotta find the right tag parter for that. I mean, if we're fantasy booking... When's this [episode] come out? Saturday? I don't think it's necessarily giving away spoilers, it's me putting my booker head on. Of all the possibilities, I would do CM Punk and the American Dragon vs. The Young Bucks. How do you not? It's so obvious that's what you do."
