Britt Baker Vs. Thunder Rosa Announced For AEW Revolution
For the AEW Women's World title
The AEW Women's World title will be on the line at Revolution in 16 nights, when champion Dr. Britt Baker defends the title against Thunder Rosa.
Baker and Rosa have been at odds going back over one year. The rivalry seemed to culminate last March, when Rosa defeated Baker in a heralded Lights Out match on the St. Patrick's Day Slam edition of Dynamite.
Since winning the AEW Women's title on May 30, Baker has made six successful defenses of the gold, but has not defended against Rosa.
In recent weeks, Baker revealed she brought in Mercedes Martinez to take top contender Rosa out. On Wednesday, Rosa defeated Martinez in a No Disqualification match, but was attacked by Baker, Rebel, and Jamie Hayter afterward.
The current card for AEW Revolution, taking place Sunday, March 6, at Addition Financial Arena in Orlando, is as follows:
