Bronson Reed Teases Match Against NJPW's Tomohiro Ishii

Jonah vs. Ishii on the horizon?

Former WWE Superstar Bronson Reed has another hoss fight on his mind.

Going by Jonah once again, the 32-year-old revealed he wanted a match with AEW TNT Champion Miro last week. Now, the former NXT star has his eyes on a clash with New Japan Pro-Wrestling's Tomohiro Ishii.

Writing on Twitter, Reed penned:

"I'm
Inevitable
Surely
Here
I ... ah stuff it let me slap that little potato around!"

The first letter of each word, of course, spells Ishii.

If the match will take place ultimately remains to be seen. Ishii is active in the United States once again, though, and he defeated IMPACT Wrestling's Moose at NJPW Resurgence on August 14 at The Torch at LA Coliseum. The Stone Pitbull will also be in action at today's NJPW Strong tapings and he will return to the United States for more New Japan matches in November.

Reed previously competed in WWE but he was released by the company on August 6. Outside of a few dark matches and one Main Event bout, The Colossal One solely wrestled on NXT.
