Cash Wheeler Reveals FTR May Continue Wrestling After End Of Current AEW Contracts

FTR could continue after end of current AEW deal according to Cash Wheeler

After winning their second AEW World Tag Team Championship in April, FTR put an end to speculation surrounding their futures, with the team of Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler having signed new four-year deals with All Elite Wrestling.

The team subsequently revealed that when their deals expire they will retire from full-time competition, but as Wheeler revealed at the For the Love of Wrestling convention in Manchester, England, that doesn’t mean they won't still lace up their boots from time to time:

"I told you guys we signed a four-year deal, and when we're done with that, we might, maybe every now and then, come out just because we love wrestling and I'm gonna have to wrestle here and there," Wheeler said. "But we're probably done full-time for sure in four years."

Indeed, true pro-wrestling retirements are rarer than unicorn tears with practically every wrestler you can think of having that itch for ‘one last match’. But for the next few years at least, FTR are planning on sticking around.
