Changes Coming For AEW Dark & Dark Elevation

AEW’s YouTube content is set to change when the brand resumes touring

AEW CEO Tony Khan has revealed that AEW Dar and AEW Dark Elevation are both set to undergo changes when AEW resumes touring in July.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, AEW have been filming all content from Daily’s lace, with shoots reportedly regularly going on until 2am. Dark and Dark Elevation have both ran for over 90 mins on YouTube, with some episodes even passing the two hour mark.

During the post Double or Nothing media scrum, Khan admitted that both shows would undergo a format change as well as a duration change, with Khan also speaking on how he perceives the success of both shows as well as how he scouts talent:

"There's a lot of people," said Khan "We keep an eye on every match and every person. I don't want to tip it too soon, but I think we're going to sign more wrestlers off Elevation and Dark as we go and we have great young talent there. I'm looking forward to it. We're doing more content and developing more wrestlers. We're going to keep doing Elevation and Dark. They're great platforms and Elevation has a great audience. I always try to put big matches on Elevation and I've been putting angles and promos on there, trying to make it a great wrestling show.”
