Chelsea Green Says Money In The Bank Is The Culmination Of A Decade-Long Journey

Chelsea Green is headed for a big night later tonight at the 2024 Money In The Bank premium live event, where she will compete in the women’s Money In The Bank ladder match, battling against Iyo Sky, Zoey Stark, Lyra Valkyria, Tiffany Stratton and Naomi for the illustrious briefcase. 

The match will be especially special for Green, who is from Canada, where the event will be taking place. Green spoke with the Toronto Sun to discuss her feelings ahead of the show. 

“I feel like this, these past 10 years, have led me to this moment. There have been times in my career where I’ve kind of thought: ‘Oh, maybe it was all worth it for this moment,’ but truly, being able to be back in WWE, be at a (premium live event), have it be Money in the Bank and have it be in Canada, this is it. I’m sorry, but it just does not get any better than coming home for a PLE and possibly being able to show off a Money In the Bank briefcase to my friends and my family.”

Green explained that despite the setbacks, the failed gimmicks, the injuries and more, wrestling at Money In The Bank in Toronto will make it all worth it.
