Chris Jericho: Why I'm Proud Of My Appearance On Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions

The AEW star was the latest guest on Austin's WWE Network show

Chris Jericho says, when it comes to his recent interview on Steve Austin's Broken Skull Sessions, that he is most proud of crossing a previously-believed impossible divide between AEW and WWE.

Jericho and Austin captured the imagination of the wrestling community when it was confirmed that the AEW star was to be the next guest on The Rattlesnake's WWE Network show, which aired on Sunday 11 April - the same day as Night Two of WrestleMania 37.

In an interview where Jericho and Austin discussed The Demo God's entire career, including leaving WWE and joining All Elite Wrestling, the man himself takes great pride in doing something almost everyone thought was not doable.

Jericho told Digital Spy: "I’m most proud of the fact that I did it, that Chris Jericho appeared on a WWE program. It was a very ground-breaking moment, that announcement. It blew a lot of people’s mind’s and that’s what I enjoy doing.

"I enjoy doing the unexpected where people see things or they go, ‘Holy smokes Jericho did that. What else can this guy do?’ So to me, just the fact that it was me that kind of opened that ‘forbidden door’ quote-unquote, even further. I take great pride in that.

"Once again, it’s another thing that Chris Jericho did that probably nobody else could do at this point in time and I like that. I get off on that."
