Dax Harwood Wants FTR Vs. Young Bucks Rubber Match In AEW

"If personal issues can be put to the side, this can make a lot of money."

In a recent interview with Fightful, AEW's Dax Harwood spoke about the rivalry between FTR and The Young Bucks - and the possibility of a rubber match between the two teams.

“I’m in the business for the business, that’s it. If I can make friends along the way, man that’s f**king cool, and if I don’t, that’s okay too because I’m in the business for the business. And right now the biggest business I want to do is [...] there should be a story between, at the very least myself and Cash [Wheeler] and The Young Bucks.

"I mean there should be a real story, you know there’s a rubber match that’s got to come soon, and if personal issues can be put to the side, this can make a lot of money. That’s what I want to do, I want to make money and do good for wrestling.”

Despite appearing alongside each other in a handful of multi-man bouts, the two teams have only had a pair of standard tag matches against one another. The Young Bucks beat FTR to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear 2020, before FTR gained a measure of revenge, winning a match on the April 6 edition of Dynamite last year.

While Harwood wants the rubber match, it is unlikely to take place anytime soon as Matt Jackson is currently out of action with a partially torn biceps.

H/T to Sportskeeda.
