Deonna Purrazzo To Challenge For Knockouts World Title At IMPACT Rebellion

Deonna Purrazzo has punched her ticket to Rebellion. 

The Virtuosa was in action at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United on Thursday, March 30 in a Four-Way for a Knockouts World Title shot at Rebellion. Purrazzo ultimately defeated Gisele Shaw, Masha Slamovich, and Miyu Yamashita to advance to the April 16 pay-per-view, scoring the victory after hitting Shaw with a Powerbomb and the Queen's Gambit. 

The Knockouts World Title picture at Rebellion remains unclear due to the status of Mickie James. Jordynne Grace has already been announced for the title match but Mickie James will be added to the contest to make it a Three-Way if she is cleared for in-ring action in time for the show. If James is not cleared, Purrazzo will go one-on-one with Jordynne Grace to crown a new Knockouts World Champion.

James is currently out of action with a rib injury. 

Deonna Purrazzo is a two-time Knockouts World Champion and she has been one of the division's top stars since her IMPACT return in the summer of 2020.
