Report: Spoiler On Potential Return Around WWE WrestleMania 39

A major return could be set to take place at WrestleMania 39, which is set to emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California on Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2. 

According to PWInsider Elite, there has been a creative pitch within WWE for Matt Riddle to return. He is not currently in Los Angeles for WrestleMania 39 but the former United States Champion could be brought in for WrestleMania or for the Raw after the Showcase of the Immortals. When Riddle does return, he will remain a part of Monday Night Raw. 

The former UFC fighter has been away from WWE since being written off TV on the December 5 edition of Monday Night Raw. WWE stated at the time that Riddle would only be gone for six weeks, with it later emerging that Riddle had reportedly been sent to rehab after failing a drugs test.

Riddle has since finished his stint in rehab and he is no longer suspended by WWE. The 37-year-old recently posted a photo of him with his new girlfriend and a set of grillz over his teeth.
