Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale & More Set For AEW Dynamite

The fourth annual Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale has been confirmed for the December 6 edition of AEW Dynamite.

So far it has been revealed that Jungle Boy, Dalton Castle, Ethan Page, Matt Hardy, Brian Cage, Ricky Starks, and ‘The Captain’ Shawn Dean will battle for the Diamond Ring, with more competitors set to be announced ahead of time.

The Dynamite Diamond Battle Royale is usually won by two competitors who later face off in singles action for the eponymous ring, with Hangman Page, Orange Cassidy, and Dante Martin co-winning the Battle Royal with MJF in 2019, 2020, and 2021 respectively.

MJF won the first three battle royales and their follow-up bouts, but after decreeing on the November 30 edition of Dynamite that he will rarely wrestle as AEW World Champion and will instead be a ‘special attraction’, we will be getting a brand new winner for the 2022 Battle Royale. However, MJF will face the winner of the battle royale - seemingly at a date and time of the winner’s choosing - with the Dynamite Diamond Ring on the line.
