Eric Bischoff Predicts Kevin Dunn Will Leave WWE

Kevin Dunn could be next to leave WWE, according to Eric Bischoff

In the wake of Vince McMahon’s retirement/official WWE exit, many have speculated on the future of McMahon’s ‘inner circle’, especially with John Laurinaitis also exiting the company in the wake of the hush money/sexual misconduct scandal.

The name on most wrestling fan’s lips is that of Kevin Dunn, with the often criticised WWE Executive’s future the subject of intense speculation, and former WCW President Eric Bischoff believes Dunn will exit WWE, saying the following on the 83 Weeks podcast:

“He’s gone through it all and now he’s in this,” Bischoff said. “At one point, does a guy like Kevin Dunn go, ‘F***, I’ve got enough money, man, and I kinda dig Florida. This boat is sweet.’ Cocktail at the country club at two in the afternoon on Wednesdays, not a bad way to spend an afternoon, or I can go back to work and start over in terms of a process and continue to ride this thing. I think Kevin is one of those people that was there as much out of loyalty, maybe more so out of loyalty than he was out of money, unless there’s something coming up that we don’t know about.”

Rumours in the past suggested Dunn was not particularly liked by Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, and Bischoff now thinks it’s likely that Dunn will go in the wake of regime change:

“I think Kevin’s out,” Bischoff said. “There’s my prediction. I think Kevin’s gonna walk. I can’t imagine at this stage of his life wanting to continue the grind when you’ve accomplished so much.”
